ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
Academic integrity is a cornerstone of our community. All students are expected to adhere to the highest standards of honesty and integrity in their academic work. Plagiarism, cheating, and other forms of academic dishonesty are strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action. Resources to prevent plagiarism are located in the Student Resource Center.
The Use of AI: AI should be used to complement, rather than substitute for, students’ academic work. FEBI’s Code of Conduct policy is clear on academic integrity; students must produce original work, cite their sources, and present assessments that showcase their own learning outcomes. Submitting assignments written by AI is considered plagiarism.
ACCOMMODATIONS FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
In compliance with Fully Equipped Bible Institute policy and equal access laws, I am available to discuss appropriate academic accommodations that may be required for students with disabilities. Please submit requests for academic considerations and provisions as early as possible in the term, unless unusual circumstances require otherwise, to facilitate arrangements.
INCLUSIVITY STATEMENT
We understand that our members represent a rich variety of backgrounds and perspectives. Fully Equipped Bible Institute is committed to providing an atmosphere for learning that respects diversity and inclusion. As a private, Christ-centered institution, Fully Equipped Bible Institute retains the right to make employment, admission, educational, and program decisions based on an individual’s religious beliefs and conduct consistent with the FEBI Statement of Faith, Employee Handbook, Student Handbook, and other institutional policies. While working together to build this community, we ask all members to:
Share their unique experiences, values, and beliefs
Be open to the views of others
Honor the uniqueness of their colleagues
Appreciate the opportunity to learn from one another in this community
Value each other’s opinions and communicate in a respectful manner
Keep confidential discussions of a personal or professional nature
Use this opportunity to discuss ways in which we can create an inclusive environment in this course and across the institutional community
COURSE SCHEDULE
Based on a bachelor’s-level course schedule: 10 group forum sessions that meet once a week for two hours (subject to change to accommodate guest presenters and instructor and student needs).
Include a weekly table for all courses. It should be consistent with the required elements and points possible. You may want to include a late-work policy, especially since ideas about timeliness can vary across cultures. Communicate any schedule changes to students in writing before the change.
