The Pastoral and Christian Ministry bachelor degree online program is a great match for people called to ministry in a pastoral or ministry leadership role. This program equips pastors and ministry leaders with solid biblical foundations, practical ministry training, and the business/leadership skills necessary to lead the organizations they serve.  This program includes core biblical courses such as Introduction to Biblical Hermeneutics, Pastoral Theology, Apologetics, Biblical Homiletics, and Church History.  It also includes core pastoral ministry courses such as Counseling, Discipleship and Mentoring, and Fundamentals of Trauma Ministry.  Leadership and practical administration courses such as Essentials of Administrative and Organizational Leadership, Effective Communication, and Biblical Stewardship of Finances are also included.   It is a bachelor’s of science degree with 120 total credit hours required for graduation.  It is possible to transfer in credits towards degree completion.

Online weekly Zoom classes meet on Saturdays for two hours and a total of ten weeks per course.  Class time varies by student location around the world. Students in the online Pastoral and Christian Ministry bachelor degree online program are required to complete eighty-four credit hours of foundational Christian courses, including courses like Biblical Worldview, Christian Apologetics, The Gospels, and the Epistles plus leadership specific courses required, including courses like Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution, Ethical Challenges for Christian Leaders, and Building and Leading Effective Teams.  There are twenty-seven General Education credits required in Humanities/Fine Arts, Behavioral/Social Sciences, and Natural Science/Math.  These courses include foundational college courses like English Composition, Psychology, Sociology, Financial Principles, etc.   There are also nine elective course credits required, with choices that include options like specialization in Children’s, Youth, Men’s, Women’s, and Marriage and Family Ministry.  

Tuition costs at the Fully Equipped Bible Institute are an average of 74% lower than U.S. Christian universities.  We are a private, not-for-profit higher education organization registered with the IRS, EIN #88-2156997.  Cost per credit hour is only $100, or $300 per course for U.S. students.  Students in developing countries may apply for full or partial scholarships.

Please note: Accreditation is not a requirement of law; it is a status sought voluntarily by an institution from a group of peer institutions and is accomplished by a voluntary, nongovernmental body called an accrediting commission.  While we are in the accreditation process,  a bachelor’s degree can be legally awarded.  

You can transfer in up to 75% of the program credit requirements, or 90 credit hours.  Transfer of credit is subject to transcript review to ensure that your previous coursework meets the criteria for your bachelor’s degree.
