Background:

Evangelist P. resides and serves in a dangerous region of Nigeria with his wife and children.  He has been a Fully Equipped Bible Institute student for over a year now, thanks to receiving an academic scholarship from a generous donor.  Evangelist P. faithfully attends his online classes, as he views them as a source of encouragement and strengthening.

His testimony is remarkable.   As a result of the sound biblical education and practical training he is receiving, Evangelist P. has been profoundly impacted by the need to forgive the persecutors who are murdering the people around him, including women and children.   As a result of this biblical revelation, he focuses his evangelistic efforts on sharing the love of Jesus with the radical extremists attempting to murder Christians.  The outreach team shares food, medicine, and the love of Jesus with the persecutors.  Evangelist P.  tells us that, as a result of seeing the love of Christ through the biblical witness and practical helps, some of the men who have been murdering Christians have surrendered their lives to Jesus, recognizing Him as the one true God, and seeking forgiveness for their violent acts. 

The murder of Christians ceased for a short time,  but has begun again.  Evangelist P. tells us, “We are praying. The killings have started again. We can’t sleep; we are always on the move because we don’t know where they will attack from. Please pray for us!”  He is very grateful for the prayer support he, his family, and fellow believers are receiving, as well as for his opportunity to receive biblical training that continues to equip him for ministry in such difficult circumstances. Specific Prayer Requests

1. For God’s protection over Evangelist P., his family, and the Christians being hunted and murdered in Nigeria by radical extremists. Their attackers are using bombs and guns, so they need to have a great distance between themselves and the murderers.
2. For strength for all of the believers who have to continue staying on the move during the night to prevent their attackers from finding and killing them.  
3. For the presence and power of God to grant them peace that passes all understanding.  
4. For the Holy Spirit to move through Evangelist P. and his team in powerful ways as they minister to their persecutors.
5. For the persecutors to recognize the one true God, repent of their evil,  and accept Jesus as their Savior.
