Fully Equipped Bible Institute (FEBI) is a U.S.-based, non-profit Christian higher education institution focused on equipping pastors and ministry leaders in developing and at-risk regions around the world through accessible biblical and practical Christian higher education.
Our mission is to remove the barriers of geography, technology, and finances so pastors and Christian leaders in developing and at-risk nations can receive biblically grounded, ministry-focused, high-quality higher Christian education that develops both character and competency for ministry.Â
As persecution, leadership shortages, and educational barriers continue to grow and negatively impact churches globally, FEBI seeks to strengthen the global Church by preparing pastors and leaders to biblically and faithfully serve their congregations and communities who reside in difficult and often dangerous places around the world.

GROWING DANGERS IN AFRICA
Expert Panel on Growing Dangers for Christians, Pastors, and Churches in Africa, including Ryan Brown, CEO of Open Doors U.S., Dr. John Hodgson, Interventional Cardiologist and Medical Missionary, Dr. Steve Isaac, Senior Pastor, and Academic Vice President at the Fully Equipped Bible Institute, and Dr. Vickie Isaac, President of the Fully Equipped Bible Institute.
NIGERIA
Nigerian pastor and FEBI student is called to evangelize a Muslim village in northern Nigeria. He witnesses the massacre of Christians at his Easter worship service. He refuses to stop evangelizing, and receives a death threat from radical extremists. He flees, then returns in obedience to the Holy Spirit. What happens next is miraculous – salvation, healing, and the first Christian church established by former persecutors.Â
UGANDA
Ugandan pastor and FEBI student watches as local government bulldozes his church to the ground. He was told that all “temporary church structures” were being demolished. His building held five hundred. It was made of wood, brick, concrete, corrugated metal, and some dirt flooring, similar to other buildings around the church. He heart broke, but he chose to forgive his persecutors, pray for them, and they return to apologize. Then, God provides large tents, and they continue to worship through the storms.
HAITI
Haitian pastor and FEBI student lost his sister, sister-in-law, and cousin to the lawless gangs that rule in Haiti. He oversees ten churches. One of his churches was burned, and many congregants murdered. They hide at night in the bush for safety. A FEBI course included a lesson on forgiving one’s enemies. He preached the lesson. His congregation responded in repentance. Through forgiveness and Christ’s love, salvation and community reconciliation is transforming the area. Â

Only 5% of pastors globally have any formal Christian higher education. Biblically equipping pastors is the greatest need of the global Church today.
The greatest request from pastors serving in difficult and dangerous places is prayer support. FEBI has a prayer team that people can sign up for HERE.
This year, FEBI’s goal is to advance into eight of the African nations where legislation is being considered to close churches if pastors do not hold bachelor’s degrees in theology. In each of the eight nations, we hope to enroll at least ten pastors. In most instances, these pastors are unable to pay for their tuition, even with a 50% scholarship. We need scholarship sponsors. It is $75 per month for a total of $6000 over a four-year period. Yes, U.S. students can attend FEBI. Our U.S. students are incredibly blessed by the interactions with students around the globe. The pastors and leaders serving in difficult and dangerous places are grateful for the prayer support, and the U.S. students are challenged by witnessing the miraculous work God is doing around the globe, as well as the strong faith of those experiencing persecution. We say, “Learn Globally. Grow Biblically.”
