Africa, the last Christian continent on Earth, is under attack from within and without. Over 25% of African countries have either passed or have pending legislation to close churches if pastors do not have a bachelors degree. Rwanda has already closed over 10,000 churches. We need to get some of those churches back open. In Botswana, we met with a high-ranking government official who is a Christian. He told us, “Pastors here don’t know what it coming. It is do or die time for our churches, and pastors need to enroll now.”
In addition to the legislation, radical extremists and governments are persecuting the Church and Christians. Our students send us heartbreaking photos asking for prayer. We can’t stand by and do nothing.
THIS YEAR, the Fully Equipped Bible Institute is committed to providing academic scholarships to pastors in eight of the at-risk African nations. Our goal is to sponsor at least ten pastors in each nation for a total of eighty four-year Biblical and Theological studies bachelors degree academic scholarships. The cost each month is $10,000 dollars, which adds up to $120,000 dollars a year, or $480,000 for the four year degree program. It is a big commitment, but we serve an even bigger God. We will sponsor more pastors in the other at-risk countries if God provides the funds, as the need is so urgent.

The Fully Equipped Bible Institute is committed to equipping and resourcing pastors and Christian leaders around the globe. In many under developed nations, a college education is simply out of reach financially. Purchasing textbooks is also not possible. In many instances, a personal computer or even a tablet is not a reality. Some of our students go to school on their phones with limited internet access.
Almost ALL of our students serve in difficult and dangerous locations. Almost ALL are experiencing some form of persecution. Some are in hiding as people are murdered around them. Others have had their churches burned or bulldozed. Yet they courageously and faithfully show up for class, and view it as a source of strengthening so that they can biblically lead their congregations in the face of persecution. Please pray for them.
