SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP
START DATE: 09/6/2022
CLASS TIME: 6:30 PM MST
PROFESSOR: VICKIE ISAAC, M.ED.
COURSE LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE
COLLEGE CREDIT:Â NO
AUDIT (NO CREDIT): YES
MASTERS/DOCTORAL: NO
This 8-week Christian leadership course focuses on the spiritual aspects of Christian leadership. From a biblical perspective, popularity and personal charisma is not spiritual leadership. Titles do not make spiritual leaders. Spiritual leadership is not an occupation. Spiritual leadership is a high calling and God is looking for obedient servants to use.
Spiritual leadership is Holy Spirit directed and steadfast in the face of opposition. Wise spiritual leaders intentionally guard and grow godly character, effectively balance ministry and personal life, and continuously equip themselves with practical leadership competencies.
How does a spiritual leader fulfill the weighty call of faithfulness to God’s agenda? This online Christian leadership course will explore Jesus’ model of spiritual leadership, the associated spiritual disciplines, and the practical day-to-day application of leading God’s way.
